Jon Meacham
Members of the public will have a chance to meet Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and author Jon Meacham during an upcoming visit to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Meacham will give a presentation, “The Art of Leadership: Lessons from the American Presidency,” starting at 4:30 p.m., April 5, 2016, at the UALR Center for Performing Arts. A reception and book signing will follow at 6 p.m. at the UALR Art Galleries.
Meacham is executive vice president and executive editor at Random House and is a contributing editor for TIME magazine. His presidential history books include works on Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Franklin Roosevelt, and George Herbert Walker Bush.
UALR and the Clinton School of Public Service are hosting Meacham’s appearance, which is part of the Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture series.
