Library Makerspace Event

Help shape the future of the Ottenheimer Library and discover what a makerspace could look like on campus! Explore hands-on stations featuring 3D printers, professional cameras, guitars, art supplies, and more on the first floor of the library.

This interactive event gives the UA Little Rock community a chance to test out tools, spark ideas, and share feedback that will help guide the future of the library.

The event will serve as a one-day prototype designed to introduce the UA Little Rock campus community to hands-on academic resources. Our goals are to raise awareness about the event’s offerings, collect valuable student and faculty feedback, measure levels of student engagement, and assess the feasibility of creating a permanent Makerspace within the Ottenheimer Library. Through this pilot, we hope to inspire creativity, innovation, and collaboration among the student body.
