Title II digital regulations are a new rule from the U.S. Department of Justice that requires public state and local government entities to make their websites, mobile apps, and other digital content accessible to people with disabilities. The rule mandates compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and has a deadline of April 24, 2026, for most public entities.
