Professor andré cummings guest lectured at St. Johns Law School discussing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the trauma inflicted on minority children when their urban communities are brutally policed by local law enforcement agencies. ACEs are traumatic events in children’s lives that lead to toxic stress and poor health outcomes in adults.
