Professor cummings presented his research on trauma, adverse childhood experiences, hip hop, and the role that U.S. policing and the criminal justice play in traumatizing minority families at Georgia State University College of Law as a guest lecturer in its Hip Hop and the Law course. cummings centered his remarks on Meek Mill’s hit song “Trauma.”
