The University of Arkansas at Little Rock celebrated its first fall commencement exercises in the new Jack Stephens Center on Dec. 21. 

Family and friends filled the Stephens Center to almost full capacity so they could honor the 400 new UALR graduates who chose to participate in the Fall 2006 commencement ceremonies. This figure included Summer 2006 graduates, who are eligible to participate in the fall event also. 

In addition to UALR’s doctoral, master’s and baccalaureate graduates, the William H. Bowen School of Law awarded 23 degrees during the ceremony. If graduates chose not to participate in the Fall 2006 commencement exercises, they will be able to walk in the Spring 2007 event.
