Two UALR Teams Advance to Business Competition

Two teams of business students will compete in the finals of the 2007 Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup, Arkansas’s premier statewide collegiate business plan competition. The Governor’s Cup competition challenges Arkansas university and college students to work closely with their advisors to write business plans that are innovative and feasible. Teams of judges comprised of business professionals read and store all entries individually before getting together in groups to select the semi-finalists, who then will make oral presentations to business executives to compete for a $20,000 grand prize as well as other prizes. Presentations will be made on April 13 and 14, which will culminate in the awards luncheon Thursday, April 19 at the Statehouse Convention Center.
