Small Business Institute Honors Entrepreneur Professor
The Small Business Institute, which fosters entrepreneurial education, has named UALR College of Business Professor Joseph R. Bell a fellow of the institute – its highest honor – during the group’s national convention in San Diego Feb. 14-16. At the meeting, Bell – an associate professor of entrepreneurship –presented a paper on entrepreneurial education and joined a colleague in presenting a workshop on angel investing. Bell served as president of the institute, the oldest academic entrepreneurship organization in the nation. SBI is the oldest academic entrepreneurship organization in the country and supports small businesses and entrepreneurs through teaching, consulting, training, and field research.View more stories in News
