UALR’s International Studies Program is offering a free, non-credit course in Turkish this semester.

Students, faculty, and members of the public are invited to meet from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in Stabler Hall Room 409.

“If there is a minimum of five people interested in the class, this will be the weekly meeting time,” said Professor Jacek Lubecki.

Last year, UALR began offering classes in Arabic. This year three levels of the language are being offered this year. The University also began Mandarin Chinese classes this summer.
