The Site Visit Team from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools will be on the UALR campus Nov. 2 to 4 to review the University’s compliance with the requirements for continuing HLC accreditation.

Provost David Belcher has invited the faculty to attend an open meeting with the site team members from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the Donaghey Student Center’s Ledbetter Hall Room C.

“Preparations for this visit have been more than two years in the making, and I am grateful to the many people who have been involved in the preparation of the self-study and related activities,” Belcher said in a message to the faculty. “This is your opportunity to share your thoughts on the strengths of UALR as well as the challenges we face. If your schedule allows, I hope that you will be able to participate in this meeting.”

Undergraduate students are invited to meet with the team from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, and graduate students can meet with the group from 11 a.m. to noon. Both meetings will be in Ledbetter Hall Room C.
