American Accounting Association Accepts Farewell’s Manuscript

Dr. Stephanie Farewell, associate professor of accounting at UALR’s College of Business, will have her manuscript, “Adios! Airways: An Assignment on Mapping Financial Statements to the U.S. GAAP XBRL Taxonomy,” published in the American Accounting Association’s Issues in Accounting Education. GAAP, the collection of methods used to process, prepare, and present public accounting information; and XBRL, a computer language of business and financial data, is the focus of the research.
