Dr. Rolf T. Wigand, Maulden-Entergy Chair and distinguished professor of information science and management, will present on “Taming the Social Network Jungle: From Web 2.0 to Social Media” with Dinah Mande and Jerry Wood, both graduate research assistants at UALR, at the Americas Conference on Information Systems in Lima, Peru, in August.

Wigand, Wood, and two others presented on “Twitter Quo Vadis: Is Twitter Bitter or Are Tweets Sweet?” at the Seventh International Conference on Information Technology in Las Vegas in April. And Wigand co-authored a chapter on “The Customer Perspective of E-Service Quality: An Empirical Study” in Craig Standing’s book, “Electronic Markets: Benefits, Costs and Risks.”
