Career Fair Oct. 13 Matches Employers, Students, Alums
Students and alumni will have an opportunity to explore dozen of businesses and educational programs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at UALR’s Career Connections annual career fair.
The event will be in Ledbetter Hall A, B, and C in the Donaghey Student Center. Prior to the event, students and alumni may sign up for resume writing assistance, interview coaching, and other career development help by calling 501-569-3185 to make an appointment with a career counselor.
“The fall career fair is a great networking opportunity for connecting with employers, particularly to do early research to plan for post-graduation,” said Amy Stapenhorst, job development specialist with the UALR Cooperative Education Program.
Employers participating include Acxiom, Arkansas Department of Education, Hewlett Packard, Internal Revenue Service, Southwest Power Pool, area banks, municipalities, and others.
Career Connections Day is coordinated by the Cooperative Education Program and Counseling and Career Planning Services at UALR. Little Rock Chrysler Dodge Jeep is a co-sponsor for the fall event.
