The next Discover UALR Day is set for Friday, Oct. 25, and provides the perfect opportunity for high school students and their parents to get a preview of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Students may reserve a spot for Discover UALR at ualr.edu/recruitment/discover.

Discover UALR is a day set aside each semester to allow high school students and their parents the opportunity learn more about the college search process and meet members of the administration, faculty, and staff who interact with students on a daily basis.

It gives visitors an opportunity to learn more about academics, financial aid, admissions, housing, and other programs offered at UALR.

On the day of the open house event, students may check in starting at 9 a.m. at the Jack Stephens Center. The program begins at 10 a.m., and lunch will be provided for all participants.

Discover UALR lets potential students and their families meet current students, faculty, and staff to learn what it takes to become a UALR Trojan. The event includes campus tours and a chance to speak with representatives to learn about scholarships and academic programs.

Parking will be available in Lots 13, 14, and 16 and in the public parking deck. Campus and parking maps may be viewed at ualr.edu/map.
