The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Writers’ Network will celebrate the arrival of the 2012 and 2013 issues of “Quills & Pixels” by hosting a book release party from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at The Joint located at 301 Main St., North Little Rock.

The event is free and open to the public.

In addition to hearing selected works from authors, guests will enjoy complimentary coffee, live music from the local band Knox Hamilton, and the chance to win door prizes, including a Kindle Paperwhite.

“Quills & Pixels” is the peer-reviewed, student publication of Writers’ Network, an organization dedicated to spotlighting the importance of writing in society.
