Law Alum Named Government Attorney of the Year
Joel M. DiPippa, a 2003 graduate of UALR’s William H. Bowen School of Law, has been named the 2008 recipient of the Arkansas Bar Association Government Practice Award. The award is presented to the Government Attorney of the Year, chosen by the ABA Government Practice Section.
Members vote for the government attorney they judge to be most accomplished and capable. DiPippa is a member of the ABA House of Delegates.
DiPippa is an attorney in the Office of Revenue Legal Counsel for the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. He also serves in an adjunct position at the law school, teaching Moot Court Competition, and he also has taught cyberlaw at the Bowen school.
He received the award at the 10th Annual Government Practice Institute held in the Bowen School’s Friday Courtroom in October.
