Extended hours and chair massages part of finals week at UALR
The UALR Ottenheimer Library, Information Technology Services Computer Lab, and Donaghey Student Center will be open until 2 a.m. weeknights during finals week, set to begin Monday, Dec. 9.
Students seeking to de-stress during final exams will have the option of chair massages, fondue stations, and other relaxing activities through The Green Dot Spa. The spa will offer services beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in Donaghey Student Center, Rooms A, B, and C.
Afterwards, students may also enjoy the Chancellor’s Late Night Pancake Breakfast, where Dr. Joel E. Anderson will be serving pancakes in the Diamond area of the DSC between 9 and 10:30 p.m.
Each night, campus student organizations will also sponsor Library Study Snack Breaks at 11 p.m. with food and beverages available on the first and second floors of the library.
Sponsors of the Study Snack Breaks include the Student Government Association, Biology Club, College of Business, Donaghey Scholars Program, The Forum, Graduate Student Association, Marketing Club, Muslim Student Association, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Society of Women Engineers, and Wesley Foundation.
The Trojan Trolley will also operate a late night schedule that will include an extra stop in parking lot 9, near the library, after 10 p.m.
