Walker Lecture Series features talk on late onset offenders

Dr. Marv Krohn will speak at the 2014 Sheriff Orval Walker Lecture Series presented by the UALR Department of Criminal Justice from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 10 in the Arkla Room of Ross Hall.

KDr. Marv Krohnrohn, a professor of criminal justice and sociology at the University of Florida, will present “Under the Protective Bud the Bloom Awaits: An Exploration of Late Onset Offending.”

His presentation will address the “relatively small group of offenders who do not fit the age-crime curve’s standard offending trajectory, but escalate offending later than the norm and continue to increase in their twenties.”
