Execs Discuss Mexico Opportunities

Arkansas corporate executives will participate in a panel discussion, “Mexico-Arkansas Business Relationships: Existing and Potential,” from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, at UALR’s Donald W. Reynolds Business Center for Business and Economic Development. The discussion will be moderated by Patricia Gonzalez, director of the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Arkansas.

Other participants include Rush B. Deacon, president and CEO of Safe Foods Corp; Keith Smith of Keith Smith Egg-cellence; David Kivell, distribution manager of Candy Bouquet International; and Denise Thomas, director of communication and membership of the Arkansas World Trade Center.

The discussion will focus on Arkansas business and trade opportunities with Mexico. The event is part of the Arkansas Mexico 2010 activities celebrating the anniversaries of Mexico’s independence and revolution.

A reception will follow in the Reynolds Center’s atrium.
