The UALR music and theatre arts and dance departments will offer patrons several end-of-season performances this month.

Artspree presents this season’s closing performance, Chris Brubeck and Triple Play, at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 14, in the UALR Fine Arts Building’s Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall.

The blues and folk-inspired group features guitarist Joel Brown and multi-instrumentalist Peter Madcat Ruth, along with Brubeck, who plays trombone, bass, and piano. The trio has performed in concert halls and festivals all across the country.

UALR students are admitted free. UALR faculty, staff, and students of other institutions can purchase tickets for $10; all other tickets are available for $20.

Later that week, the theatre arts and dance department will present their annual spring dance concert, BODYWORKS 2013, featuring UALR dance students performing the choreographic works of UALR dance faculty.

The performances are scheduled Thursday, April 18, through Sunday, April 21, at the UALR Center for Performing Arts. Showtimes are Thursday to Saturday at 8 p.m. and a Sunday matinee at 2:30 p.m.
