Hill named Interim Dean of Library

J.B. Hill has been appointed interim dean of the Ottenheimer Library at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. His appointment was effective Aug. 16.

“The process that culminated in the selection of Mr. Hill involved consultation with the faculty and staff of the library,” said Zulma Toro, executive vice chancellor and provost at UALR.

Toro said three individuals were nominated for consideration for the position, and Hill was chosen following the interview process.

Hill has served as director of Public Services at Ottenheimer Library since 2009. Before coming to UALR, he was associate dean for Public Service at Indiana University Bloomington Libraries. Hill also held positions at the University of Akron and Mississippi State University.
