The UALR Sustainability Committee reminds the campus community that it is accepting the submission of research or teaching proposals for a $2,500 grant toward the development and promotion of the principles of sustainability.

The deadline for grant proposal submissions is 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 1. All full- and part-time faculty, instructors, and staff may apply.

Funds may be used for such items as travel, educational materials, equipment purchases, field trips, or guest speakers and must be spent by the end of the fiscal year.

The Sustainability Committee is committed to promoting healthy environments, economies, and societies, starting with the UALR campus.
