McNair Scholars attend graduate school fair

UALR’s McNair Scholars Program hosted a graduate school fair for its scholars in the Leadership Lounge of the Donaghey Student Center Tuesday, Sept. 2.

The fair was open to the campus community and provided an opportunity for students to ask questions and receive information about graduate school programs.

Graduate schools in attendance were UALR, University of Arkansas, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of North Texas, University of Kentucky, and Missouri State University.

The McNair Scholars Program prepares select students for entrance into graduate degree programs and helps them to develop critical skills for success at the doctoral level. Eight students participating in the program presented their research throughout the day.
