Mary Katherine Parson, a 2003 graduate of the master’s of secondary education program at UALR’s College of Education, is the 2010 Teacher of the Year at the Little Rock School District.

Susan Blue, who earned a B.S. degree in education in 1984 and a master’s degree in early childhood education in 1978 from UALR, was named Outstanding Elementary School Teacher at Booker Elementary School.
