When Dr. Zulma Toro thinks about the many ways the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is making a difference in the lives of its students, there is one story that remains close to her heart.

As Little Rock children began another school year, many families got a helping hand as University of Arkansas at Little Rock Children’s International distributed back-to-school supplies to more than 900 children.
