Bailey Alumni and Friends Center

UA Little Rock Public Radio, home of KUAR FM 89.1 and KLRE Classical 90.5, honored its new board members and one of its most active volunteers during the Nov. 18 annual meeting at the Bailey Alumni and Friends Center at UA Little Rock.

Angelita Faller, news director at UA Little Rock, received two awards in the National Federation of Press Women’s 2022 communications contest held June 25. The awards were presented during the organization’s annual conference in Fargo, N.D.

BBQ at Bailey returned to UA Little Rock for their 14th annual gathering inviting faculty, students, and graduates to the Bailey Alumni and Friends Center on Oct. 12. Participants ate a delicious lunch catered by Whole Hog Café, followed by dessert from Community Bakery.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will celebrate the start of the fall semester and welcome the return of students and employees to campus with BBQ at Bailey Tuesday, Oct. 12.

The UA Little Rock community is mourning the loss of Dr. Howard Ashley Ted Bailey Jr., longtime supporter of higher education and pioneering physician, who passed away Jan. 21 in Little Rock at the age of 94. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Applied Communication will host the remaining components of its 2016-17 Leadership Lecture Series from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 and April 20.

The 14th annual Taste of Little Rock alumni fundraising event will honor the Bailey Family for their decades of support to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
