UALR Police officers will be on hand at the UALR Department of Public Safety in University Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, to accept unused, unwanted, or expired pharmaceutical drugs and prescription medications and dispose of them in a safe and ecologically sound way.

Chancellor Joel E. Anderson organized a campus forum on safety Thursday, assuring students, staff, and faculty that UALR is a secure campus and efforts are ongoing to make it more so.
Unwanted, unused, or expired medications may be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Campus Police office as UALR participates in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s “National Take-Back Day.”
William Dalton “Bill” Brumley of Alexander died Sept. 1. He joined UALR’s Campus Police force after retiring from the Air Force. He retired from UALR in 1988 after serving 18 years.
