Drop Off Unused Meds Saturday

UALR Police officers will be on hand at the UALR Department of Public Safety in University Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, to accept unused, unwanted, or expired pharmaceutical drugs and  prescription medications and dispose of them in a safe and ecologically sound way.

Annual Stroll to Inspect Lighting, Phones

The jack-o’-lanterns are carved, and Daylight Saving Time is about to end. That means it is time for UALR’s annual evening stroll through campus to inspect lights and find shadowy areas that need illumination.

Safety Forum Assures Campus Community

Chancellor Joel E. Anderson organized a campus forum on safety Thursday, assuring students, staff, and faculty that UALR is a secure campus and efforts are ongoing to make it more so.

Campus Police to Collect Old Meds

Unwanted, unused, or expired medications may be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Campus Police office as UALR participates in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s “National Take-Back Day.”

Retired Capt. Brumley Dies

William Dalton “Bill” Brumley of Alexander died Sept. 1. He joined UALR’s Campus Police force after retiring from the Air Force. He retired from UALR in 1988 after serving 18 years.
