The University of Arkansas at Little Rock announced the schedules for the three finalists in the search for the university’s next chancellor.

University of Arkansas System President Donald R. Bobbitt, with input from the Chancellor Search Committee he appointed in January, has selected three finalists for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock chancellor post.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will honor Chancellor Joel E. Anderson for 45 years of service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at Cooper Fountain. 

University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt has announced the formation of an advisory committee to assist in the search for the next chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR).

UALR is the only Arkansas school investing resources to host Green Dot, a program designed to mitigate incidences of violence and sexual assaults.

The UALR Institute on Race and Ethnicity hosted a public forum and panel discussion Monday, Sept. 8, in response to recent events in Ferguson, Mo., where an unarmed 18-year-old black male was shot by a white law enforcement officer in August.

The first Diversity Council “Brown Bag Lunch and Learn” of the fall semester will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, in room G of the Donaghey Student Center.

The Student Services Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has earned recognition from the American Institute of Architects.

A commemorative bronze bust honoring the university’s founder and first president, John A. Larson, will be unveiled during a special ceremony at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept.19, in the UALR Student Services Center.
