Michael Tramel, chair of the Department of Construction Management and Civil and Construction Engineering at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has been named the 2018 recipient of the Champion of Construction Award. 

Students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock are helping to test a new program in development at the Emerging Analytics Center that lets users conduct basic anatomy training in a virtual environment. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will honor 17 of its top faculty members during the Faculty Excellence Awards Thursday, April 12, at 5:30 p.m. in the College of Engineering and Information Technology Auditorium.

A University of Arkansas at Little Rock professor has co-authored a book with a UA Little Rock graduate analyzing how online communities and social media can provide stress relief for families and individuals with an autism spectrum disorder.

Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira, director of the Emerging Analytics Center and interim chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, demonstrated how innovative virtual reality technology is changing the world for the better during a panel discussion at the Sundance Film Festival. 

Ben Rainwater, instructor of systems engineering with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, will lead a project at Brown Engineers to create a water engineering computer simulation for students in grades six through 12. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Graduate School crowned the winner of its first Three Minute Thesis – 3MT competition – on Thursday, Feb. 8.

Three University of Arkansas at Little Rock students attended the Clinton Global Initiative University Oct. 13-15 at Northeastern University in Boston to discuss their design of a water pump to provide clean drinking water to a rural village in Haiti. 

A team of computer science majors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock finished fourth out of 21 teams during the Shell on the Border cybersecurity competition Jan. 26-28 at Fort Smith.
