Little Rock’s Robinson Center unveiled a new permanent exhibit on Friday, Nov. 9, that is the result of research and creative work by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Collections and Archives  and the Department of Art and Design. 

A famous Arkansas composer, teacher, and pianist has been honored by the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association for her lifetime of musical accomplishments after being denied entry to the organization nearly a century ago because of her race. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Center for Arkansas History and Culture has received a $50,000 grant to digitize archival maps, documents, architectural drawings, and photographs related to urban renewal in Little Rock.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture has received a nearly $20,000 grant to digitize historical materials related to Arkansas for use in K-12 social studies education. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will honor 14 of its top faculty members during the Faculty Excellence Awards Thursday, April 13.
