A University of Arkansas at Little Rock graduate is exploring how to attract more women to enter Arkansas’s growing construction industry.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has unveiled a newly renovated lab that will provide construction management and civil engineering students with an edge for their future careers in Arkansas’s growing construction industry.

Graduating seniors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock learned the challenges of undertaking international construction projects as part of their year-long capstone project.

One UA Little Rock alumnus has made the university’s annual Giving Day celebration extra special with the day’s largest donation of $50,000.

As a child growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Anne Turner, assistant professor in the Department of Construction Management and Civil and Construction Engineering at UA Little Rock, has always had a love of math and science, especially physics. It came as no surprise to her family when she decided to become an engineer.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has unveiled a new state-of-art project management lab that will prepare construction management and civil engineering students for their future careers.

UA Little Rock will hold a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Clark Project Management Lab in the Department of Construction Management and Civil and Construction Engineering at UA Little Rock. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, in the Engineering, Technology, and Applied Science Building, Room 354.

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Arkansas has donated $30,000 to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to establish a fund to support the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Lab for construction management and engineering students. 

A group of 13 graduating students from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Construction Management and Civil and Construction Engineering faced a unique problem for their senior design project. 

Two programs from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology have received accreditation from ABET.
