The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will premiere new music by students, songwriters from the community, and resident composer Robert Boury during the 30th annual Songwriters Showcase. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock launched its Diversity and Inclusion Initiative with a recital by renowned pianist Dr. Dena Kay Jones Friday, Oct. 7. 

The first Tapas and Travel, a social event supporting University of Arkansas at Little Rock Study Abroad programs, will feature two award-winning fiddlers in the heart of the historic Quapaw Quarter. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Artspree Concert Series will feature a performance by the Brock McGuire Band at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the UALR Fine Arts Building.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Artspree Concert Series will feature a special performance by jazz artist and guitarist Julian Lage at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the UALR Fine Arts Building. 

Dena Kay Jones, a member of the music faculty at the University of Texas at El Paso, will perform a solo piano recital at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Building. 

The Sangeet Millennium Ensemble will open the 2016-17 University of Arkansas at Little Rock Artspree Concert Series at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the UALR Fine Arts Building. 

The duo Mariposa will present a chamber music concert featuring the music of New England composer Gwyneth Walker, Sunday, Sept. 25, at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  

Student vocalists from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock performed for the largest crowd to date for the annual Opera Gala held March 10 at the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center.

Music sensation Barry Manilow is the first pop star Karen Kuralt ever saw in concert.
