Sign Up for Trojan Trailblazers by Wednesday
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the fourth annual Trojan Trailblazers Walking Contest, a fun way to drop pounds and tone up by walking across campus. Every participant will receive a free pedometer to keep up with distances walked.

Check Cholesterol June 15-18
UALR employees can get their cholesterol checked by appointment only at Heath Services in the Donaghey Student Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, June 15 to 18.
On-Campus Clinic Offers H1N1, Seasonal Shots Monday
The Arkansas Department of Health will conduct a flu vaccine clinic on campus from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, in the Donaghey Student Center’s Ledbetter Hall Room A. UALR Health Services Director Marie Sandusky said plenty of seasonal flu vaccines and H1N1 vaccines will be available.
Free Clinic Offers Help to ‘Kick the Nic”
A tobacco treatment specialist from the Mayo Clinic — who is an ex-smoker who quit with the help of a treatment option and support — will be on hand Thursday, Nov. 5, for an hour-long workshop sponsored by QualChoice’s Wellness Counts program.
UALR Health Services Begin Flu Shots
UALR Health Services will be holding its annual flu vaccine campaign this month, beginning with high risk clinics from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Oct. 15 and 16, followed by general flu vaccine clinics from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday Oct. 19 to 23.
Sandusky to Head Health Services
Marie Sandusky, a certified family nurse practitioner and an advanced practice nurse (APN) with prescriptive authority, is UALR’s new director of Health Services.
Trojan Trailblazers Sign Up Starts Monday
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the third annual Trojan Trailblazers Walking Contest. Participants can sign up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Aug. 24 to 28, in the Diamond Area at the Donaghey Student Center.
