The University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Social Sciences and Communication presented Dr. Kristen McIntyre with the Faculty Mentor Award and awarded six additional student research prizes during the college’s Research and Creative Works Showcase on Feb. 27. 

The UA Little Rock College of Social Sciences and Communication will host its annual Research and Creative Works Showcase Feb. 26-27 in Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter Hall. 

A University of Arkansas at Little Rock alumna and her husband have endowed a scholarship that will provide funding for undergraduate students who participate in unpaid internships. 

Lindsey Stroud, assistant to Dean Julien Mirivel in the College of Social Sciences and Communications, will graduate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock this December with a Master of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing.

Two faculty members and the winner of the 2016 student speaking competition will represent the University of Arkansas at Little Rock during central Arkansas’s own TED event Sept. 30 at the Ron Robinson Theater. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will offer a public lecture series during the 2016-17 academic year covering topics on current leadership and change management.
