Kristi Smith has been promoted to a key leadership role for alumni and development at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. 

Kristi Smith, senior director of alumni and development at UA Little Rock, served as the commencement speaker for the 36th Class of Leadership Greater Little Rock.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s highly anticipated culinary and social event, Taste of Little Rock, will return March 29.

BBQ at Bailey returned to UA Little Rock for their 14th annual gathering inviting faculty, students, and graduates to the Bailey Alumni and Friends Center on Oct. 12. Participants ate a delicious lunch catered by Whole Hog Café, followed by dessert from Community Bakery.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will honor outstanding graduates Dr. Jaafer Golzar and Helaine Williams with the UA Little Rock Distinguished Alumni awards during a Nov. 4 ceremony at the Clinton Presidential Center.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, UA Little Rock is profiling women in leadership positions who are making a difference at UA Little Rock and in the community. The next Woman to Watch at UA Little Rock of 2021 is Kristi Smith, senior director of alumni and development. 

A pair of University of Arkansas at Little Rock graduates have made a donation of $30,000 to start a scholarship for students who have lost loved ones due to domestic or gun violence.

Kristi Smith, senior director of development and interim director of the UA Little Rock Alumni Association, has been named to the University of Arkansas System Task Force on Racial Equity. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will honor alumnus Dr. Sara Tariq, associate dean for student affairs in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), during the 17th annual premier food event, Taste of Little Rock, on Tuesday, April 7.
