NPR CEO Jarl Mohn visited the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s NPR station KUAR on Oct 19 during a cross-country road trip to visit more than 30 NPR stations in 11 states.

KUAR’s Arts & Letters kicks off its third season with a celebration of its 2016 Public Radio News Directors, Inc. award-winning episode for best long documentary, “Sundays with TJ,” at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, on KUAR 89.1 FM.

With the help of a recent grant, a University of Arkansas at Little Rock associate professor’s Arts & Letters radio broadcast will continue to entertain and inform Arkansas audiences.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) awarded a $278,300 grant to four Arkansas public radio stations to support the creation of a statewide multimedia journalism collaboration based at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Natural State News will be a statewide news service focusing on reaching rural areas of the state.
