The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Public Radio, home of KUAR FM 89.1 and KLRE Classical 90.5, is closing its annual fall fund drive off on a high note with an anonymous donation of $1.5 million, the largest cash gift in UA Little Rock Public Radio history.

A rising star in student journalism at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Arkansas Press Women’s annual scholarship contest.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Public Radio has received a grant of $36,681 from the Roy and Christine Sturgis Charitable and Educational Trust of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, for equipment upgrades for KLRE/KUAR.

KUAR has once again been named Best Radio Station in the Arkansas Times annual Best of Arkansas Awards.

Arkansas Public Media has received a $50,000 grant from the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation to develop news content about oral health issues and deliver it through the Arkansas Public Media partner network.

The Friends of KLRE/KUAR will host the third annual Block, Beer & Bourbon event on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, to celebrate public radio and to raise funds for UA Little Rock Public Radio stations KUAR FM 89.1 and KLRE Classical 90.5.
