Trojans earn four All-American honors

For their efforts at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, University of Arkansas at Little Rock student-athletes Keshawn Andrews, Ch’kilas Calhoun, Travion Clark, and Charles Okeze were named Second Team All-Americans by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on June 11. Entering the semifinals with the eighth-fastest seed time in the 4x100-meter relay, Travion Clark, Charles Okeze, Ch'kilas Calhoun and Keshawn Andrews posted a school record of 39.31 seconds and placed 12th overall. Little Rock's time beat the previous school record of 39.35 set on May 26 at the NCAA West Preliminaries.

Little Rock’s Big Fan

One of the Trojans’ biggest, and littlest, fans is Charlie Teich from Milwaukee. The 7-year-old chose Little Rock to go all the way in the NCAA Tournament, because “I’m little and I like rocks,” according to Twitter posts from his father, Mitch Teich.
