The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will honor a Benton student who passed away from cancer last year with a posthumous business degree during the university’s fall commencement ceremony on Dec. 14. 

Christina Saville’s home is situated on Dam Road in Mayflower, a once picturesque drive named for the nearby water barrier on the Arkansas River.

Goodwill Week, which takes place the first full week of May, was established to promote awareness of the organization’s life-changing mission. UALR staff and students recently contributed to that mission by collecting more than 700 pounds of clothing during its annual “Career Closet Suit Drive.”

Goodwill representatives will be on campus in April during the annual Women’s Career Closet Clothing Drive.
