Christine Jones, a graduating student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has been honored as the LULAC Student of the Year.

Christine Jones, a graduate student in technical and professional writing at UA Little Rock, has been selected to receive the Aspiring Scholar Award for her outstanding achievements by the LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC).

The Hispanic Women’s Organization of Arkansas (HWOA) has selected Christine Jones, a UA Little Rock graduate student, to receive a $1,000 scholarship.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has issued a proclamation joining the State of Arkansas in designating Jan. 18 as the National Day of Racial Healing 2022. UA Little Rock will join communities and campuses across the state in celebrating a weeklong schedule of events in observance of the National Day of Racial Healing. 

The members of the new Racial Barriers Committee will host a hybrid meeting with the UA Little Rock community on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Christine Jones, of Cabot, is a blogger, writer, editor, and graduate student in the Professional and Technical Writing Program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. 

After just three years at UA Little Rock, Landon DeKay, of Maumelle, has completed his studies one year ahead of schedule and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in political science this month.
