In celebration of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, UA Little Rock is highlighting some of the women in science at UA Little Rock, their amazing research, and their journeys to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation has granted accreditation for nursing professional development to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Nursing. 

Several academic programs at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock have made the grade by earning a spot in U.S. News and World Report’s 2022 Best College Rankings.

While it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes the efforts of an entire community to save one lost black lab that captured the hearts of the UA Little Rock community.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will celebrated its nearly 1,300 spring 2021 graduates with the launch of the hybrid commencement ceremony on the Commencement website.  

The Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation has awarded the University of Arkansas at Little Rock a $165,000 grant for the Center for Simulation Innovation in the School of Nursing. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will hold a variety of in-person and virtual events to celebrate the approximately 1,300 students who have applied for graduation from UA Little Rock during the spring 2021 semester.

The UA Little Rock Center for Simulation Innovation (CSI) provides nursing students with valuable experience that prepares them for their future careers in the healthcare industry.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Nursing has launched the Professional Development Center (PDC) to provide continuing education opportunities for nursing students, healthcare professionals, and emergency response professionals. 

When Morgan Smocovich arrived at UA Little Rock in 2017, she was an active student who liked to volunteer through the Chancellor’s Leadership Corps and and a successful member of the soccer team, but she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with her life.
