Signature Experience Awards

More than 90 undergraduate and graduate students showcased their academic work at the Student Research and Creative Works Expo held April 8 at UA Little Rock. This year’s event took place outside beneath tents between the Ottenheimer Library and the Physics building. It was the first in-person expo in three years.

Registration is now open for students who want to show off their academic research and other projects during the 2022 Student Research and Creative Works Expo.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s 2021 Student Research and Creative Works Expo will debut to the public Friday, April 16, featuring the latest research and innovations of student researchers at UA Little Rock.  

UA Little Rock’s Student Research and Creative Works Committee has announced the opening of registration for the 2021 Student Research and Creative Works Expo scheduled to take place April 15.

Lauren Humphrey came to UA Little Rock on a Chancellor’s Leadership Corps scholarship to study graphic design. During her time on campus, she discovered another passion: a desire to work in ministry.

UA Little Rock theater major Selena Gordon has performed in musicals, plays, and even national films, but this semester she worked to create a performance of a different kind – one meant to awaken her audiences’ unexpressed emotions.

UA Little Rock senior Li Morrow grew up fishing in her native China, using just a glass jar with bread in it.

University of Arkansas at Little Rock students will stage their original plays and performance pieces during the university’s Fringe Festival, taking place April 2-5.

More than 100 undergraduates at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will receive $1,000 grants to conduct original research, creative works, and community service projects this year as part of the university’s Signature Experience Award Program.
