The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas has awarded the University of Arkansas at Little Rock $605,000 to create an endowment that will provide funding for graduate students in the School of Social Work.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock and East Arkansas Community College are teaming up to provide undergraduate students with an easy path to earn a Bachelor of Social Work at UA Little Rock.

The College of Education and Health Professions welcomes Dr. Stephen Kapp, who has been hired as director of the School of Social Work. He starts July 1.
