UA Little Rock Downtown to open Jan. 16

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock today announced a grand opening for its downtown Little Rock location on Wednesday, Jan. 16. The new multipurpose center at 333 President Clinton Ave. includes a reflection room with a historic mural by American painter Joe Jones and lecture space with state-of-the-art video conferencing technology. The UA Little Rock Reach 13,000 Campaign kicked off with a dodgeball tournament that ended in an all-out battle between a campus ministry. The tournament finale came down to a showdown between Metro BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministry) Team #1 and Metro BCM Team #2. Metro BCM Team#1 came out on top as the winner.
