Members of the public are invited to a free performance that fuses historic inquiry and interpretation.

Ballet Arkansas will give a one-night only performance Saturday, Aug. 20, at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock featuring four talented, emerging choreographers competing to have their work showcased in a stage production with Ballet Arkansas.

A new interdisciplinary course at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will explore how theatre and performance can be used to address social problems by studying the work of Latino artist-activists from the United States.

About 300 junior high and high school students from central Arkansas will perform at the Shakespeare Scene Festival Thursday, March 10, and Friday, March 11, at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

High school students and other dancers, ages 10 and older, will participate in a dance workshop, including ballet, modern, and jazz styles. The workshop will be taught by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock dance faculty and hosted by the Department of Theatre, Arts, and Dance.
