Trojan Food Pantry

When it comes to community service, University of Arkansas at Little Rock students are among the state’s most engaged. 

During the first EARTHtalk lecture of the year, Dr. Stephen Grace, associate professor of biology, will discuss the progress of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Campus Garden and the benefits of sustainable urban gardening. 

Tavin Leggate has two goals in life: to end world hunger and to stop homelessness. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Reach 13,000 Food Drive begins Saturday, Aug. 19, with its seventh annual kickball tournament at the Coleman Sports and Recreation Complex.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Employee Wellness Program will hold a poker walk to support the Trojan Food Pantry Thursday, April 20.

The hundreds of people who use the Trojan Food Pantry at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will soon have access to fresh produce grown in the UA Little Rock Campus Garden.

With a goal to one day end world hunger and homelessness, 7-year-old Tavin Leggate hosted his third annual summer food drive and donated the proceeds to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Trojan Food Pantry. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Reach 13,000 Food Drive will wrap up with a talent show highlighting the skills of talented UALR artists and performers. 

Sustainability Day at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock surpassed expectations this year with its numerous activities and vendors for students and faculty to enjoy.
