The winners of the 2016 Student Research and Creative Works Expo at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock were announced during an awards ceremony April 18 in the Student Services Center.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Cyber Security Club recently earned the highest finish ever for an Arkansas university at the Southwest Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.

Ten students from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock have been selected to attend the Clinton Global Initiative University to present ideas to combat global challenges. This year’s event will be held April 1-3 at the University of California-Berkeley.

Duane “Digger” Carey credits education as the defining element that led a child who grew up in public housing in St. Paul, Minnesota, to a successful career as an astronaut who piloted a shuttle mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope in 2002.

Dr. Cang Ye, a professor in the UALR Department of Systems Engineering, was one of five researchers honored during a Thursday, Dec. 10, news conference at the State Capitol building in Little Rock.

Some of the world’s leading digital security experts are coming to Arkansas, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.   UALR will host the fourth International Conference on Digital Forensic and Security — the symposium’s first appearance in Arkansas — April 25-27, 2016.
