In celebration of National Engineers Week, UA Little Rock is highlighting some of the university’s most promising engineers and engineering students.

The UA Little Rock School of Business and the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC), based at UA Little Rock, have both been recognized in Arkansas Business’s 17th annual Best of Business Awards.

In celebration of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will hold a panel discussion with the top cybersecurity experts at the university.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Public Radio, home of KUAR FM 89.1 and KLRE Classical 90.5, is closing its annual fall fund drive off on a high note with an anonymous donation of $1.5 million, the largest cash gift in UA Little Rock Public Radio history.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has received a $750,000 grant from the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity, located within the National Security Agency, and will be one of the first universities in the country to offer a graduate certificate in cybersecurity education through the National Cybersecurity Teaching Academy.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Choirs will make their debut performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 25, 2022, with Dr. Lorissa Mason, director of choral activities, conducting the performance.  

Several academic programs at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock have made the grade by earning a spot in U.S. News and World Report’s 2022 Best College Rankings.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has announced a major new student success initiative that offers half-off course tuition and fees for freshmen who enroll at UA Little Rock for the fall 2022 semester.

This semester, the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center’s BYOB (Build Your Own Business) program for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock students will start Sept.17 and continue for every third Friday of the month.

UA Little Rock will hold a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Clark Project Management Lab in the Department of Construction Management and Civil and Construction Engineering at UA Little Rock. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, in the Engineering, Technology, and Applied Science Building, Room 354.
