NCAA sendoff for Trojan women set for Thursday

The Little Rock women’s basketball team is set to depart for its Saturday NCAA Tournament game in Tallahassee, Florida, from the Jack Stephens Center on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. Fans are encouraged to come give the Trojans a proper send-off. 

Trojan women win Sun Belt Tournament Championship

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock women’s basketball punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament as it won the Sun Belt Tournament Championship for the fourth time with a 54-53 victory over No. 2 Texas State on Sunday night at Lakefront Arena. 

Little Rock No. 25 in latest mid-major top 25 poll

For the second time this season, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock women’s basketball is ranked in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll as the Trojans came in at No. 25 on the Feb. 27 poll. 

DeGray earns Sun Belt Player of the Week honors

Helping her team score two home wins over the weekend, University of Arkansas at Little Rock women’s basketball’s Ronjanae DeGray was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week on Jan. 15. 

UA Little Rock student-athletes achieve record high GPA scores

Continuing to add to its legacy in the classroom as well as in competition, University of Arkansas at Little Rock Athletics finished the fall 2017 semester with a cumulative 3.3 grade point average among its nearly 200 student-athletes, a new high for the athletic department. 

Coach Foley earns 750th career win

University of Arkansas at Little Rock Head Coach Joe Foley became the 12th Division I head coach in NCAA women’s basketball history to earn 750 career wins as Little Rock defeated the University of Louisiana at Monroe 57-37 on Dec. 31, 2017, at the Jack Stephens Center.

College Sports Madness named University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Raeyana DeGray as its Sun Belt Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Dec. 4.
